Peanut Butter Wolf Biographie

Peanut Butter Wolf ist der Künstlername von Chris Manak, einem aus San Jose stammendem Hip-Hop DJ und Musikproduzent. Werdegang 1990 arbeitete er mit dem MC Charizma zusammen und nahm ein Album auf dem Label Hollywood Basic auf, welches erst später, nach dem Tod von Charizma (? 1993) veröffentlicht wurde. 1996 gründete PB Wolf das Label Stones Throw Records, auf dem die Single "Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf's "My World Premiere."" veröffentlicht wurde. 1999 brachte PB Wolf sein erstes Solo-Album auf den Markt, welches er "My Vinyl Weights a Ton" nannte. 1998 signte er die Gruppe Lootpack auf seinem Label, nachdem er ihr Demo-Album im College Radio das erste mal hörte.
